• Membership means we are united in the common goal of elevating our image as Food truck operators, giving exceptional customer service and supporting the community we serve in meaningful ways including, charity, citizenship, and education

  • Honesty equals trust.  In all of our relationships within UFTA and with all our customers, purveyors, and supporters, we are each judged by what we say and do.  All members are held to the highest standards of professionalism

  • We support our organization by engaging each other to excel in our individual businesses while collectively and willingly sharing our wisdom with all members

  • We will leave every area we serve as clean, if not better, than when we arrived

  • Safety in regards to our county’s health codes and security of our members at all times are non-negotiable

  • We will support all decisions made as a group and all UFTA voices are equally respected and ideas acted upon by the UFTA

  • UFTA has the best intentions for our member’s well-being and will always hear out any concerns or grievances

  • We will uphold our Code Of Conduct, Code Of Ethics, and adhere to our By-Laws


  • Maintain the highest standards of business conduct by using only legal and ethical means in all business activity

  • Cooperate in every reasonable and proper way with other UFTA members and work with them toward the advancement of the Food Truck industry

  • Be fair, equitable and respectful to employer(s), employees, associate, competitors, customers, the public, and all business or professional relationships

  • Observe all applicable state and local laws and regulations pertaining to the production, transportation, setup and selling of Food Truck products

  • Be responsive to and available for customers before, during and after the sale

  • Respect the rights of others vendors, Food Trucks and brick and mortar restaurants; their intellectual property such as patents, copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets; their location, lots and advertising; and if any innocent breach occurs, promptly address and rectify any such breach

  • Maintain a 100’ distance (walking distance) from the entrance of any Brick and Mortar Restaurant unless otherwise arranged with the affected Restaurant in advance

  • Recognize that other Members will compete for business within lawful, reasonable and customary practice 

  • Never comment on a competitor's product without a good faith basis or need for such statements

  • Never make false statements about competitors 

  • Support the UFTA by taking an active role in committees and activities while also promoting the Association to the Utah Community at large

  • Act in a manner consistent with, and make every effort to uphold this Code of Ethics

  • Participate in UFTA meetings on a regular basis

  • Contribute to the communities that we serve through local business patronage, charitable giving, Community events



The Utah Food Truck Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to unifying and promoting mobile food vendors and serving as a resource for them, as well as, local governments, community organizations, and the public.  As members, we are united in the common goal of elevating our image as mobile food vendors, giving exceptional customer service and supporting the community we serve in meaningful ways including education, advocacy and community outreach.
